As a former "Class Clown" in the late, Late 1900’s, she realized her ability to entertain, through quick wit and a creative thought process. Whether standing in the grocery store…… retail……buffet or even the unemployment line, yes honey……she’s been in that line a time or two too Christina aka “Ella-vation” Wilson also known as “Ella the Spella” has always used her southern mannerism and unique sense of humor to connect with audiences and complete strangers.

You might find her at the mall, bellowing an “off the cuff jingle” for a free Cinnabon, or strolling the aisle at Costco after Sunday service, accumulating enough mini samples to make up a meal. Yes indeed sweetie! She has been known for putting a "trick or treat" on her audiences; usually sharing the tricks with them, while consuming ALL the treats for herself, which is how she keeps her 9-10, girlish figure! Those clever techniques not only gained her a plethora of free samples and a few giggles from innocent bystanders, but she also acquired a few unintended inches around her waistline as well.

Christina enjoys engaging her guests from beginning to end and will leave you with a "hooked on phonics experience." Yes, indeedie sweetie... she literally spells out complete sentences while having heart to heart conversation throughout her act, which is why she is known as “Ella the Spella” That said, you'll need to pay close…….a-t-t-e-n-t-i-o-n, so you're able to capture what's being "s-a-i-d” because, it’s like the Washington Post, well, if you miss it, ya just miss it!

Christina is not only a Comedienne, but also a member of CAPAC, (pronounced, Kay-pac,) (The Creative and Performing Arts Center. She said she joined this organization because she thought the acronyms stood for Cookies And Pies and Cakes. She is also a former partner with the Living on Laughter Gospel Comedy Association. I might add that she is also an Actress, Creative Writer, Event Planner, Promoter, Commercial Model, Voiceover, Inspirational Speaker, and…..a Professional Snacker. She says, “I’ve NEVER met a snack I didn’t like”….Which is how she keeps her girlish “16-18-20” figure!

A few of Christina’s most recent accomplishments include the completion of a role in a West African film entitled "Vengeance is Mine, the stage play, “For Colored Girls,” “The Devil Don’t Live Here Anymore,” DC Film Festival, “Playing House” and opening for acclaimed Comedian and actor, Joe Tory at the University of Maryland . She is also a 2013 AMTC graduate (Actors, Talent & Models for Christ, a Christian Based developmental talent agency).Christina’s been just a little busy, but we are so delighted that she is able to be here with us tonight!
